Acura
Established in 1986, Acura is the luxury and performance division of the Japanese automaker Honda. In its first few years, it was one of the best-selling luxury car brands in the United States. Its first flagship was the Legend sedan, introduced in 1986 and discontinued in 1995 in North America. Also debuting in 1986 was the Integra hatchback, which retired three years later. In the early 2000s, the company released its first crossover SUV, the MDX, and it remains popular.
The automaker builds most of its cars at its Ohio manufacturing plants. Its vehicles are known for their reliability. In fact, the brand earned a 4.0 out of 5.0 reliability rating from RepairPal, ranking Acura second out of 32 automakers.
