Whenever you hear about these hyper-low-miles old cars it seems like a miracle. That’s true in this case. Here is a 1991 Ford Bronco with an astounding 29 miles on the odometer. It was driven from the Ford dealership to a storage facility where it has been sitting ever since. 29 miles! But it raises …
Truck wars are heating up. With 2020 third-quarter sales results in Chevy is on the ropes in a couple of segments. Ram outsold the Chevy Silverado again. This could potentially place Chevy in third place behind Ram for the second year in a row. But the numbers for the Ford Ranger are more telling. It’s …
We knew that Tesla was having trouble with the glass roof panels blowing off of Model X vehicles. But it appears it forgot to replace the glue as it is now happening on Model Ys as well. This poor owner had just purchased his Model Y when it became a convertible while driving it home …
Chevys have always been the most popular race car in the NHRA Sportsman classes. The Sportsman classes make up the bleeding edge of amateur drag racing. It is what started drag racing and is the least expensive way to actually participate. In 2012 Chevy began offering a COPO Camaro which is a non-licensable factory Sportsman …
Have you heard of these before? With SUVs based on trucks proliferating by the minute, there had to be an “alternative cool.” Is this it? This Italian customizer thinks so. This is the Aznom Palladium designed by Alessandro Camorali of Camel Studio in Turin, Italy. Aznom is an Italian customizing shop that has cranked out …
Happy Rustober! If you’re a classic Ford Mustang fan you may want to stop scrolling and read a Lee Iacocca book instead. Ford made so many early Mustangs that they were bound to be used, abused, and left to rust away. It is the nature of rustdom. But a Shelby Mustang? That is the height …
After all of these decades, the hazard warning lights have never changed. And the need for them has not gone away, either. It has become even more important as driving slowly gets back to normal after pandemic shutdowns are being lifted. But now there could be a change to hazard lights since the first ones …
The Volkswagen Group owns both Bugatti and Lamborghini. With VW’s pivot towards electrification and autonomous driving, it is taking a hard look at all of its assets. For a number of reasons, it is looking more likely that one way or another VW will carve off both Bugatti and Lamborghini. We have a bit more …
This class-action lawsuit is over a cool feature that seems like it practically disintegrates if it gets used. The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was claimed by Dodge to be the “fastest production car in the world” when it came out in 2017. It was only available as a 2018 model. Part of the startling performance …
We will pivot slightly for today’s Freak Show Friday to pickup truck conversions that we like. Most Freak Show Fridays are showing bad choices and worse craftsmanship. These, for the most part, are fine and finished. And we like them! You may not, but if you haven’t figured it out by following Freak Show Friday …
Ford just killed the Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R, and with them goes the incredible 5.2-liter flat-plane-crank V8 engine. They won’t return in 2021. So, if you hoped to have that flat-plane sound in a new Mustang 2020 is your last chance. This also means the GT500 is the only Shelby-badged Mustang left. None of …
Wow! A major recall announced by Ford today spotlights over 700,000 cars and trucks. A bad electrical connection can cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen or jumbled image which can increase the likelihood of a crash. The big recall list of Ford cars and trucks were all built in 2020. In all …
At least the Pontiac Aztek has versatility. The 2007-2010 Chrysler Sebring raised the question: Is there anything right about this car? And the answer was, “No!” How could one company develop the much-loved 2006-current Chrysler 300, and in the next room the dismal Sebring? Chrysler should have saved the Sebring name for something worthy and …
Remember those old cartoons where the guy slams on the brakes and the brake pedal breaks in half? Well, when it is actually happening in real life it is not so cartoony. And that is where we are today with the 2020 Ford Mustang. The NHTSA is reporting that brake pedal brackets are cracking on …
Any time that GM unveils a concept it is an event. And in most cases, stunning vehicle design is revealed. This is the Buick Electra concept and it portends Buick’s design language going forward. Impressive and involved body sculpting is intriguing and compelling. The gull-wing doors will never be seen in production, but concepts have …
Working pickup trucks get no respect. No garage time, no trips to the car wash, no love. Just pickups with rust but not respect. The proof of that is these Rusty Monday pickups are workhorses that in some cases continue to serve with half of their bodies eaten by the rust worm. In other cases …
