With the launch of the 2022 Grand Wagoneer, Jeep now has a new lineup-topping luxury SUV. And it has a price tag to match. But with the return of the Grand Wagoneer comes the return of the Jeep Wagoneer, too. So, do you really need to pay extra grand to get that extra ‘Grand?’ The …

Cars and Bids Bargain of the Week: 2014 Audi S4

Reliability is always a concern where used luxury cars are involved. Because while the purchase price is low, that doesn’t mean the repair costs are, too. However, even if an earlier version of a car was plagued with problems, doesn’t mean the later ones are, too. A good example of this is this week’s Cars …

Bring a Trailer Bargain of the Week: 1994 Honda CB1000 Super Four

While the Super Cub has certainly cemented itself in motorcycle history, it’s not the only influential Honda bike. The CB750, for example, was the first motorcycle called a ‘superbike.’ Then there’s the GB500 Tourist Trophy, which previewed the modern café racer trend by over a decade. This week’s Bring a Trailer bargain, though, is more …

Which Is Faster: A Toyota GR Yaris or a Tommi Makinen Mitsubishi Lancer Evo?

The GR Yaris’s rave reviews don’t make its lack of US availability any easier to bear. But the Toyota hot hatch isn’t the only rally-themed car kept from American shores. Although Mitsubishi eventually sold the Lancer Evo here, we never got the earlier models. For example, the celebratory Lancer Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition. But …

Does the 2021 BMW M4 Competition’s Speed Match Its Sensational Looks?

Clearly, not everyone’s on board with some of the design choices on the latest BMW 4 Series. That goes for the base models, the M440i, and the range-topping model, the M4 Competition. But looks are only one part of any car’s appeal. What really matters is, does the 2021 BMW M4 Competition live up to …

It’s Not WRC, but the ARA Keeps Rallying Alive in the US

With Formula 1 firmly finding a foothold in the US, automotive racing here isn’t as dominated by NASCAR as it once was. But even so, some incredibly-popular kinds of racing have struggled to see the same kind of popularity in the States. While we have off-road events like the Rebelle Rally and King of the …

Riders Share Wants Motorcycle Rentals To Bring in New Riders

Going for an extended test drive before buying a car is important, but it’s even more so for motorcycle shoppers. You won’t really know if you’re more comfortable on a cruiser or a standard until you ride them. Luckily, as with cars, motorcycle rentals from sites like Riders Share offer such opportunities. However, as Riders …

The Halcyon 450 Is the First Fuel-Injected Janus Motorcycle

Indiana-based Janus doesn’t just style its motorcycles to look like their classic forebears. The company’s hand-assembled and mostly hand-built bikes are designed around keeping things simple for their riders. That’s why, up until now, all Janus motorcycles have used a carbureted single-cylinder engine. But that changes with the new Janus Halcyon 450. The Halcyon 450 …

Should You Shine Your Car Tires?

Washing your car isn’t just about improving its appearance—it’s a form of maintenance, too. But is that something you …

The Level 3 2021 Honda Legend Still Isn’t Self-Driving

However, while consumers are cooling somewhat on the concept, automakers are still plowing ahead. And recently, the 2021 Honda Legend achieved an autonomy milestone. But …

Porsche’s Synthetic Fuel May Actually Make Gas Cars EV-Clean

Besides efficiency and low-end torque, fewer CO2 emissions are one of the biggest advantages EVs have over ICE cars. However, even if and when EV batteries become truly affordable, gasoline- and diesel-powered cars won’t just disappear from roads. And not every classic car owner locks their vehicle up like a museum piece. This is why …
