2020 Lincoln Corsair

Lincoln Corsair Distinctly 2020 American Luxury

The 2020 Lincoln Corsair continues the brand’s mandate of “American luxury” even in this smaller package. We are especially impressed that Lincoln has chosen to not only stock the offshoot of Ford’s Escape architecture with a ton of Lincoln features but that it also shares none of the Escape’s sheetmetal. All of the Corsair’s body …

Here’s What Volkswagen’s SUV Names Mean

People sometimes ask, “What’s in a name?,” and we find ourselves asking that about the less well-known names Volkswagen gives some of its vehicles. Native English speakers get “Beetle” “Golf,” and we even got the VW “Thing” from back in the 1970s. But once it started doing other names starting with “T,” it can be …

Aston Martin Lagonda

Aston Martin Lagonda Is One of the World’s Rarest Sedans

You can tell the Aston Martin Lagonda is a uniquely strange sedan, but if you ever see one in person it almost looks alien. Everything from its styling and interior design to the CRT-tube instrument displays seems like the epitome of suede-coolness from the 1970s. But you know it’s terribly dated now. Maybe the juxtaposition …

How the Porsche 911 Has Grown Since 1963

We all love the Porsche 911. From its heritage and gorgeous looks to its performance. Even Ferrari enthusiasts will admit that the 911 is a worthy sports car with a racing legacy as rich as Maranello’s finest. But Porsche has a problem, and that problem is bloat. We noticed it especially coming up on two …

It’s always fun to look back and see what some of our favorite American cars sold for new, and what that same price would be in 2019 dollars. Hyundai Santa Cruz Pickup Truck May Be Body-on-Frame

The Hyundai Santa Cruz car-based truck is coming soon though we first saw the concept back in 2015. Sources say 2021, but that might mean later in 2020 as a 2021 model. We can only hope as if it becomes a decent seller it might prompt other manufacturers to create similar car-trucks or “Utes” as …

Eight Station Wagons You Can Still Buy In 2020

If you think of crossovers as just station wagons with a new name, then wagons are super popular right now. Alas, real wagons; those that are based on a sedan body and don’t require a step to hike into, are not a popular body style these days. But, as Autowise recently pointed out, there are still …

Could Dodge’s Death Be Only a Matter of Time?

When you look at what Dodge has coming up for 2020 and onward, it doesn’t look like FCA plans to invest heavily in reviving the brand. By 2023, there’s a decent chance that Dodge will be no more. Dodge could be the walking dead. Since FCA broke Ram trucks away from the Dodge brand in 2009, it’s eliminated Dodge models …
