Reports say over one million people are charged for driving under the influence each year. Of course, several of these people will attempt to talk their way out of the charges during their traffic stop. This happened recently in Florida when police pulled over a young woman because her driving signaled that she’d been drinking.

Take a look at how it all unfolded.

Driving under the influence is never a good idea, and neither is flirting during a traffic stop

According to Fox 13 News, police officers in Sarasota, Florida, pulled over a woman driving a Jeep Wrangler for a traffic stop. Of course, this led officers to talk to the woman, which is where they learned she was 22-year-old Sophia Ross. She also informed them she was a Hooters waitress. However, the police on the scene noticed signs that she was driving under the influence – slurred speech, difficulty expressing thoughts, and she even admitted she’d been drinking.

As the traffic stop went on, the police officer asked the woman to submit to field sobriety testing. She eventually did. However, she failed to finish the tests. Of course, throughout the video, the waitress is clearly trying to flirt and smooth talk her way out of being charged with driving under the influence. Not only did she call the officer “daddy,” but she also made suggestive remarks toward him.

The traffic stop continued, and so did the woman’s flirty behavior. Luckily for public safety, the video ends with the woman being arrested for driving while under the influence. In fact, she had a .318 blood alcohol content level, which is about three times the legal limit. Her bond was $500, and this encounter happened back in November of 2024.
