4 Houston teens are behind bars after firing rounds from a truck while 1 is at large following a carjacking
There are many reasons a driver could be subjected to a traffic stop. It could be due to speeding, or the police may want to pull someone over for more routine reasons. However, a recent story out of Texas involves multiple teenagers shooting guns from a vehicle and then leading police on a wild chase before crashing. Now, four teens have been arrested, and one is at large. This story also involves car theft on a squad vehicle.
Shooting guns from a vehicle and trying to evade a traffic stop was never going to end well for them
According to Click 2 Houston, multiple teenagers were recently in a pickup truck and shooting guns into the air while driving. The report says that the police officers believe them to have all been either 15 or 16 years old. Sadly, the report says that a separate 16-year-old boy was hit by the shrapnel from one of the rounds from the truck, which caused police to search for the vehicle and attempt a traffic stop.
Of course, the driver tried to evade the traffic stop, which led police on a high-speed chase through the streets of Houston. After a while, the teen driver lost control of the black pickup truck and crashed into a fence. Four boys exited the vehicle, the vehicle with three being placed into handcuffs. The fourth boy put up a fight and tried to resist arrest. He then committed theft on a squad car and sped off. However, officers were in for a surprise when they learned a fifth boy had been hiding. He exited the vehicle and then escaped on foot before being caught later.
Following the traffic stop, police found the stolen squad car, but the boy was nowhere to be found. Now, the police are looking for him. The authorities found multiple AR-style pistols and two regular pistols in the truck
