The Dodge Charger is a full-size muscle car sedan model produced and sold by the Dodge division of Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA)). The modern sedan styling and build of the Charger is a counterpart to the retro and boxy-looking coupe build of the Dodge Challenger muscle car.
While the modern Dodge Charger is a performance sedan, the nameplate has existed in various looks and builds since its first generation, including as a subcompact, a hatchback, and as a luxury model. However, the original 1966 Dodge Charger was built as a pony car to compete against the Ford Mustang. It was released during the rush of early muscle cars, which also saw the introduction of the Mercury Cougar and AMC‘s Rambler Marlin.
The Dodge Charger is currently in its seventh generation which debuted in 2011. Known for its incredible amount of horsepower and torque (both of which exceed 700 with the performance-focused Hellcat model), the Charger faces competition from various full-size sedans and muscle cars. Along with the Ford Mustang, other rivals include the Chevrolet Camaro, the Chrysler 300, the Genesis G80, the Nissan Maxima, and the Toyota Avalon.

- Pros: The Dodge Charger muscle car comes with suitably powerful and roaring engine options, handles well behind the wheel, and its styling is a mix of retro and modern.
- Cons: The Charger, like its Challenger sibling, has a very plain and unmemorable interior cabin design with cheap materials. Additionally, some wheel options actively make performance worse, and while steering is responsive, its lack of driver feedback is disappointing.
