Opt for all-wheel drive and you’ll lose some range, getting 211 miles. However, you’ll gain torque, getting 428 lb-ft.

When can I buy a Mach-e?

Right now the Ford website shows delivery 20 plus weeks after you order the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-e. Well, that’s if you order the Select or California Route 1. Go for the Mach-e Premium or GT, and it will be at least 28 weeks.

That means that if you order the Select on January 25, 2022, you won’t see your Mach-e until at least June 14th. And the Premium and GT won’t make their way to your driveway until August 9, 2022. Why the delay? There’s a global chip shortage that’s causing production delays at all car manufacturers, and wreaking havoc on the auto industry in general. Even if you decide you don’t want to wait for a 2022 Mach-e, you may not find anything else you like as much at a reasonable price much sooner than that.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-e worth it? It definitely is. It’s got a solid engine, it’s fast, and it’s reasonably affordable. Now, whether you can actually buy one within a timeframe that works for you may be another story, but it isn’t Mach-e specific.
