37-year-old woman is facing 11 charges after stealing a vehicle and leading police on a chase
There are several reasons drivers may be subjected to a traffic stop. However, this sometimes occurs for much more extreme reasons than many may assume. This is the case with a recent story of a woman committing car theft and then leading police officers on a wild chase. Here’s what led to her getting eleven charges.
This woman committed car theft and then evaded a police traffic stop
Running from a traffic stop after committing car theft has to be the worst combination of ideas. Sadly, according to WRIC, this is exactly what happened on October 24th in Virginia. Police say that 37-year-old Francesca Quesada attacked an unnamed victim at their home that night and then took the car along with the keys. This happened around 8:15 p.m.
Two hours passed, and police officers noticed the stolen vehicle with Francesca behind the wheel. Naturally, they attempted to make a traffic stop, but she fled from the area. This caused a police chase that extended onto the interstate and ended in Richmond, Virginia. Sadly, Francesca crashed the stolen vehicle before being apprehended by the police.
Of course, Francesca Quesada is facing several charges after stealing the vehicle and evading a traffic stop. In total, she has 11. However, police officers also discovered that she was wanted out of three separate cities in Virginia for separate charges. Her charges for her most recent crime are below.
