There is a lot of interest in the Suzuki Jimny, even though it is not sold in the US. But now, Jeep has confirmed an electric version of a baby Renegade.

If Korean carmaker SsangYong can survive its latest financial problems we might see two new SUVs to take on Jeep and Bronco.

The Jeep Renegade Latitude is often viewed as the best trim level. The Latitude model is the third trim level and begins at about $26,970. It features 17-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, and upgraded interior materials.

The current Jeep Renegade 4xe has a 1.3-liter gasoline engine that’s paired with two electric motors. They combine to generate 190 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque. With the S and Trailhawk trims, you get 240 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque.

The 2021 Jeep Renegade is one of the most affordable new SUVs on the market, and it comes with plenty of standard safety features that many buyers are looking for in a brand new vehicle. All of these standard safety features are available across all four of the available trim level options.
