Trucks
Trucks most often refer to pickup truck models (such as the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado) but can also refer to semi-trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks, fire trucks, chassis cab trucks, and various other commercial-purpose truck models.
Pickup truck models consist of a cab (or cabin) where the driver and passengers are seated and a bed (an open cargo box for hauling materials). Under the truck's body is the chassis (or frame) which consists of the running gear, such as the axels, driveshafts, and suspension.
Pickup trucks come in compact, midsize, and full-size models, as well as with body-on-frame or unibody construction. Notable pickup truck models sold in the U.S. market include the Chevrolet Colorado, the Ford Raptor, the GMC Sierra, the Honda Ridgeline, the Nissan Titan, the Ram 1500, and the Toyota Tacoma, among many additional options.
