Only 1 Honda SUV Keeps Momentum With Positive Sales
Holy moly, why did drivers turn their back on Honda during November? Nearly every model in the lineup is facing a decline in sales. Surprisingly, only one Honda SUV carried momentum with positive sales in November.
One Honda SUV saves face with positive sales
The Honda SUV that is celebrating positive sales in November 2025, and year-over-year, is the Honda Passport. That’s a bit surprising as the Honda CR-V is usually thought of as the most popular model. It still is overall.
The Passport moved 2,908 SUVs in November 2024, which increased to 4,363 in November 2025. This represents a 50% sales increase. It also has a year-to-date sales increase of 73.2% as it has sold about 50,530 so far this year.
Then the CR-V moved 34,398 units in November 2024 and only 29,241 units for a 14.5% sales decline. Its year-to-date sales remain steady over last year with a 1.4% increase.
On a smaller scale, the HR-V sold 12,594 models in November 2024, which decreased to 10,821 in November 2025. It has a 14.1% sales decline and a year-to-date decline of 1.2%.
The Pilot sold 12,652 models in November 2024 but only sold 9,234 units in November 2025 for a 27% sales decrease. It has a year-over-year sales decline of 11% for the year-to-date.
Overall, Honda sales are down by 15.3% in November 2025 compared to 2024. The Accord, Civic, Odyssey, and Ridgeline all took hits last month.
According to Honda, the sales declines can be attributed to an industry-wide semiconductor chip supply shortage. It’s currently impacting production.
