President Donald Trump has been spotted riding in style with plenty of security. The new fleet of armored Cadillac SUVs has started to arrive. This occurs as the FBI dumps General Motors for BMW, and Trump waits for his new Air Force One plane to get delivered.

Trump gets new armored Cadillac SUVs

The United States Secret Service has officially started transporting President Trump in a new fleet of armored Cadillac SUVs. The vehicles look like modified Escalade models, but this information hasn’t been confirmed.

Secret Service Director Sean Curran shares, “We’re excited to build upon our long-lasting relationship with General Motors as these vehicles are introduced to our protective fleet.”

Trump and General Motors CEO Mary Barra discussed the idea of next-generation armored SUVS back in March. Traditionally, the president would travel in protected Chevrolet Suburban SUVs when not using the presidential limousine.

GM has a $14.8 million contract to develop the next presidential limousine, known as ‘The Beast’. According to Reuters, it could be worth up to $40.8 million through 2029.

But FBI Director Kash Patel is moving away from the American brand Chevrolet. The factory-armored BMW X5 Protection VR6 models cost less to modify than Suburban SUVs.

Plus, they’re less conspicuous. But now, criminals know to look for BMW X5 models instead of the typical black government-issued Chevrolet vehicles.

Soon, Trump will fly in style as well. The United State Air Force shares that the new Air Force One plane should arrive by the summer of 2026. The luxury Boeing 747 jetliner from Qatar is being retrofitted for hundreds of millions of dollars.
