Affordable compact SUVs deserve more credit than you think. Especially the 2026 Nissan Kicks which just increased its value by adding tons of standard features. Plus, it’s still cheaper than popular rivals like the Toyota Corolla Cross.

How much does the 2026 Nissan Kicks cost?

Drum roll, please! The 2026 Nissan Kicks has an MSRP of $22,430. It has a slight price increase of $600 over the 2025 model. Also, the $1,495 destination fee increases the starting price to $23,925.

The Chevrolet Trailblazer starts at $24,995, and the Toyota Corolla Cross starts at $26,085. These prices include the destination fee.

But this Nissan SUV could benefit from a little more power. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine only cranks out 140 hp and 141 lb-ft of torque. According to Edmunds, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 10.3 seconds.

Just give yourself extra time to merge and enjoy getting an EPA-estimated 31 mpg in the city and up to 36 mpg on the highway.

To beef up its value, the Kicks gains a standard 12.3-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and two USB-C ports in the front. The 2025 model has a standard 7.0-inch screen with wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and only one USB port.

Other standard features include 16-inch wheels with wheel covers, remote keyless entry, a 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster, and rear parking sensors.

The standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 system features automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning with rear-cross traffic warning, and rear automatic braking.
