According to My Fox 8, an Ashanti Alert went out for the victim;’s vehicle at 3:37 AM. After corresponding with other police departments, investigators spotted the victim’s car. It was heading through Erwin, Tennessee.

Police cars from the Unico County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop the car, but a police chase ensued. They performed a pit maneuver to end the chase on I-26 East.
