Thanksgiving is a welcome holiday this year, though it may look different than we are used to. The stress of the COVID-19 pandemic might make you apprehensive about traveling to your local car dealership to test drive cars, but there are still plenty of ways to enjoy all of the Black Friday sales regardless. In fact, it might be one of the best times of the year to buy a new car.

Thanksgiving sales

Thanksgiving is a time of celebration, remembrance, and for Americans, sales. Revving up for holiday shopping, Thanksgiving week has one of the biggest sales of the year: Black Friday. While you might be headed to buy new clothes or toys, you can also head to car dealerships and enjoy the abundance of sales for new years. In fact, you can save thousands of dollars on new cars just with these sales.

Release of 2021 models

There are a lot of things working in your favor when it comes to buying a new car around Thanksgiving. Access to early Black Friday sales and day-of sales are just the tip of the iceberg, but the sales can save you thousands of dollars. Because it is so late in the year, many manufacturers are starting to release their 2021 models to the dealerships, though some delays this year might change that. This means 2020 models are becoming old news, and dealerships may be eager to get rid of them to make room for the latest models.

Buying online

With the current change in the car market, it’s becoming more and more popular to buy a car online. While it’s not ideal for everyone, online car dealerships can offer you a lot of benefits. You can enjoy many of the same sales this Thanksgiving without having to beat the Black Friday traffic. Even better, you don’t have to deal with salespeople at the dealership.
