The 2023 Kia Sportage was finally revealed a few months ago, and it’s completely redesigned. In addition to having a more modern look and plenty of upgrades, the 2023 Kia Sportage has off-road-focused trim levels, the X-Pro and X-Pro Prestige. So how much does a fully loaded 2023 Kia Sportage cost?

How much does a fully loaded 2023 Kia Sportage cost?

The 2023 Kia Sportage comes in seven different trim levels, but a fully loaded trim is called X-Pro Prestige. According to Edmunds, it costs $38,045 to start, without any additional equipment. Below that model is the standard X-Pro at $36,245, and the SX-Prestige for $34,745. Even in its top three trim levels, the Sportage is surprisingly very affordable.

It’s worth noting that the X-Pro models are intended for extreme off-roading. In short, they’re competing with the Jeep Trailhawk and Subaru Crosstrek. If off-road driving isn’t of interest to you, your fully loaded Kia Sportage comes in the form of the SX-Prestige model. Regardless of which version you choose, Kia includes a ton of upscale features and equipment for your driving pleasure.

Firstly, the off-road 2023 Kia Sportage X-Pro gains BF Goodrich all-terrain tires, 17-inch matte black wheels, heated windshield and washer nozzles, and multi-terrain drive modes. Next, LED headlights, taillights, and foglights come with every X-Pro model. As do heated side mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, raised roof rails, and a hands-free smart liftgate. X-Pro models drop the eight-way power passenger seat and ventilated front seats from the SX trim, but both are available as options.

As for technology, the Kia Sportage X-Pro comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment system. In addition, buyers can play tunes through a Harman Kardon audio system. The infotainment system has built-in navigation, and a proximity key with a push-button ignition is standard.

Building off the SX Prestige model, the Sportage X-Pro Prestige has the same equipment plus more. Kia includes the same driver-assist systems, a panoramic glass sunroof, ventilated front seats, and LED projector headlights. In short, the X-Pro Prestige model comes with everything but the kitchen sink.

The 2023 Kia Sportage SX and SX Prestige are fully-loaded options for buyers uninterested in off-roading. Moreover, the SUV is excellent in its top trim, but not many will drive it off the road. Furthermore, SX models gain a hands-free power tailgate, panoramic sunroof, and a roof rack. Next, buyers get the dual panoramic curved 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, plus LED interior lighting. In the same vein, SX models have a memory driver’s seat and mirrors and are the cheapest option with the Harman Kardon audio system.

Opting for the SX Prestige package adds a heated windshield, premium SynTex faux leather upholstery, and a heated steering wheel. Subsequently, 19-inch alloy wheels, LED projection-style headlights, LED rear combination lights, LED fog lights, and an eight-way passenger seat with SynTex and ventilated front seats come standard.

Finally, new driver-assist technology joins the lineup at this level. The automaker included items like reverse automatic emergency braking, front parking sensors, a surround-view monitor, and a blind-spot monitor.

Is a 2023 Kia Sportage worth buying?

If you loved the Kia Sportage before, it’s better than ever before. Moreover, the redesign makes it a sharp, stylish small SUV with plenty to love. A fully loaded 2023 Kia Sportage includes all the technology and equipment you could ask for. Furthermore, the off-road trim levels are an excellent option if the added performance sounds appealing. Luckily, the lineup has something for everyone. In conclusion, buying the X-Pro and X-Pro Prestige models get you everything and off-roading, while the SX and SX Prestige models drop the off-road capability.
