The 2021 Mazda CX-9 starts at $35,335 for the base model. That’s the 2021 Mazda CX-9 Sport. The Mazda CX-9 Sport comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This makes 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque and is matched to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Sport comes standard with front-wheel drive, though there’s an optional all-wheel drive as well.

The 2021 Mazda CX-9 also comes with LED headlights and heated side mirrors, as well as rain sensing windshield wipers. The CX-9 interior comes with a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a second-row bench seat. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen comes standard in the 2021 CX-9, and it’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible.

The 2021 Mazda CX-9 Touring Premium package builds on the Touring with a 12-speaker sound system and satellite radio. The Touring Premium Package also has a sunroof and front and rear parking sensors.

The Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition is new this year

There are several other Mazda CX-9 trim levels available as well.The 2021 Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition is the newest addition to the CX-9 lineup. Its MSRP is $44,355 and you’ll know it by its unique Polymetal gray paint and a dark grille with 20-inch wheels. It also comes with adaptive headlights, power-folding side mirrors, and ventilated front seats. Both the rear seats and steering wheel are heated in the Carbon Edition, and the second row has captain’s chairs. There’s also a wireless charging pad and driver attention warning.

The Grand Touring starts at $45,215. It doesn’t have all of the exterior extras that the Carbon Edition has, but it does add a hands-free liftgate and integration navigation system. It also has a heads-up display and traffic sign recognition system and a surround-view camera system.

Then there’s the 2021 Mazda CX-9 Signature, which is the high-end version. It starts at $47,980. The CX-9 Signature comes with all-wheel drive and an exclusive grille design that’s only for the CX-9 Signature. It also has a real wood interior and quilted leather piping, as well as second-row captain’s chairs with a console.
