‘You Can’t Park There’: Man Checks into a Holiday Inn Express. Then a Ford F-150 Crashes Into His Room
A viral video shows a Ford F-150 that has crashed into the bathroom at a Holiday Inn Express.
In a TikTok that’s generated more than 1.3 million views as of this writing, content creator (@plperot) reveals the aftermath of the Ford F-150 crashing into the hotel room.
You Can’t Park That Ford F-150 Here
The TikTok begins with a man clearly confused as he stands in disbelief in his hotel room.
“Peyton, what did you do to your room?” the video begins.
The videographer of the clip, jested, “He blew up the bathroom. Oh, somebody parked in the bathroom.”
He scans to a completely destroyed bathroom. Then, he shows a Ford F-150 that crashed through the bathroom wall and is lodged in what might be the shower. The hazards are on, y’know, just for safety.
Water is spraying out in the bathroom as the two men stand in a puddle of water in the hotel room trying to comprehend what on earth just happened.
“Built Ford tough,” right?
The account, which only shows this single viral clip, jokingly wrote, “You can’t park that here.”
I’m Not Paying Extra For That
Obviously, there were jokes up and down the comment section.
“Hi front desk? Yeah, it appears I have a Ford F-150 in my bathtub. I’m not paying extra for that,” quipped one TikTok commenter.
“Continental breakfast is nice, but indoor parking and a free car wash is pretty awesome,” another added.
“Imagine if you takin a [expletive] while that happen,” a third shared.
While one hotel worker would flabbergasted if they received this news.
“As someone who works in a hotel if a guest told me a truck came through their wall i wouldn’t believe it without seeing it,” one shared.
Seeing the wall insulation blown out made it more humorous for one person.
“Is that hotel built with styrofoam?” one commenter joked.
Do Vehicles Crash Into Hotels Often?
Assuming this is recent, it wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened, even in 2025.
In July, an unoccupied Ram 2500 owned by a pest control company rolled down a hill from a parking area and crashed into the Burke Mountain Hotel in Vermont, NBC5 reports. Fortunately, no one was injured.
While in May, a tractor-trailer hauling lumber crashed into a Comfort Inn in Shelby, North Carolina, WBTV shares. It lost control, hit two cars, and barreled into the hotel with the truck’s cab left embedded in the building. People inside said the crash “sounded like a bomb going off,” and the building was evacuated.
Not to mention in November 2024, an early morning high-speed pickup truck crash smashed the vehicle into an occupied hotel room at La Luna Inn in San Francisco, KRON4 reports. The driver was speeding down a street, cut through a gas station, narrowly missed a customer pumping gas, hit two parked cars, and the truck “flipped around and plowed into the side of La Luna Hotel””” with “half of the truck ended up inside a hotel room where a guest was staying.”
According to SFFD Lieutenant Mariano Elias, “Fortunately, the person was not in bed, and in the bathroom away from the corner of this building where the impact is.”
Another person described it as looking “like a scene from a Disney action-adventure movie,” ABC7 reports.
As a matter of fact, it appears that the vehicles crashing into hotel rooms happen more often than one would think.
