Maybe an old man was just trying to make a friend when he crashed his car through the gate at Jennifer Aniston’s home. Or maybe it was an accident because he was stuck in second gear. Either way, she was glad that the police were there for her.

70-year-old man crashes car through gate at Jennifer Aniston’s home

If there were fans of the classic sitcom, Friends, in the Los Angeles Police Department, then they got to respond to a dream call.

A 70-year-old man crashed his car through the entrance gate at Jennifer Aniston’s home in Bel Air, Los Angeles.  A private security guard sprang into action and pulled the man from the vehicle.

He detained the suspect until police officers arrived, according to ABC 7 Chicago. They took him into custody. Jennifer Aniston was home around 12:20 p.m. when the incident occurred. It’s unclear if she came out to speak with officers.

There is an ongoing investigation into the matter to determine the suspect’s motive. He could have been a fan or maybe he needed a good friend. However, it may have been an accident. For example, his vehicle may have been stuck in second gear.

Also, the man could have been a burglar. Police are working to determine if the incident was accidental or intentional. The suspect has a minor criminal history but no clues indicate that he was targeting Aniston.

No charges have been made, but the suspect could be charged with felony vandalism. Luckily, no one was hurt, and that security guard might deserve a raise.
