The 2021 Lexus LC 500 Is an Underrated $93,000 Luxury Coupe

You don’t have to spend a lot to get decent luxury cars these days. But luxury is about more than just features; it’s also about style. Whether a car is appealing or not is, of course, in the eye of the beholder. However, it’s tough to call the 2021 Lexus LC 500 anything but stylish. …

Mil-Spec Has a 675-Hp Ford F-150 To Take on the Ram 1500 TRX

While the Ram 1500 TRX doesn’t have every advantage over the Ford F-150 Raptor, it’s definitely more powerful. And, unlike the factory Raptor, it has a V8. But, if an automaker doesn’t offer something, there’s usually an aftermarket tuner ready to supply. And looking to take on the Ram TRX is Mil-Spec’s supercharged Ford F-150. …

The Next-Gen Ducati Monster May Be Ditching Something Iconic

The Ducati lineup includes many exciting and desirable motorcycles. The Panigale, whether in V4 or V2 form, has plenty of performance and electronic aids. And the Ducati Scrambler is a genuine off-roader and a Mint 400 winner. Then there are the brand’s past models, like the still-stylish 916. However, a significant portion of the company’s …

The 2021 Audi A4 and A5 Have Hybrid Power and More Standard Luxury Features

It was once a Consumer Reports ‘never buy,’ but the Audi A4 is now CR’s best compact luxury sedan. It’s also one of the most reliable Audis on sale today. But with the growing competition in the affordable luxury segment, the Audi A4 and its platform-mate, the A5, can’t sit on their laurels. Which is …

A 15-Year-Old Suzuki GSX-R1000 Can Keep up With a Ducati Panigale V4

While its motorcycles aren’t the most expensive, Ducati’s bikes are arguably some of the most desirable. Especially its Panigale line of sportbikes. The V2 model is quick in its own right and keeps the manufacturer’s L-twin tradition alive. But if you want the closest thing to a commuter-friendly Desmosedici RR, you’ll need the Ducati Panigale …

Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 vs. 535: Twice the Cylinders, Twice the Fun?

The Himalayan bargain adventure bike isn’t the only thing showing Royal Enfield’s recent rise in the motorcycle world. For one, rumors suggest the formerly British and currently Indian company is looking to take on the Triumph Scrambler. But arguably bigger than that or the Himalayan are Royal Enfield’s neo-classic bikes, the Interceptor 650 and Continental …

Can the 2021 Toyota Supra Really Hang With the Chevrolet Corvette and Porsche 911?

While it’s not the same as its Mk4 predecessor, the newest Toyota Supra is a genuinely good sports car. And for 2021, it’s gotten a performance upgrade. But how does the Japanese icon compare to the ones from America and Germany, the Chevrolet Corvette and Porsche 911? YouTube team ThrottleHouse wanted to find out. 2021 …

Does the Electric Ford Mustang Cobra Jet Bolt Ahead of the Gasoline One?

As insane as the 1400-hp Mach-E is, it’s not the only high-powered electric Ford Mustang drag racer. A few months prior, Ford unveiled an equally-powerful Mustang Cobra Jet EV for the drag strip. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because it’s previously appeared on several gasoline-powered track-only cars. But which is faster, the ICE one …

Crocker: The American Motorcycle Brand More Valuable Than Harley-Davidson

While Indian and Harley-Davidson may be the biggest names in American motorcycles today, they weren’t always the only ones. Indian in particular owes a lot to Henderson, maker of four-cylinder bikes. Henderson was preceded in turn by another four-cylinder brand, Pierce-Arrow. And there’s another American motorcycle company worth celebrating. One whose bikes command higher prices …

With Beetle Power, This WWII Volkswagen Can Go for a Schwimm

Given its best-selling status, the Volkswagen ‘Type 1’ Beetle’s influence shouldn’t be surprising. It inspired many cars beloved in their own right, like the Fiat 500 and 126p, the classic Mini Cooper, and the Chevrolet Corvair. But the Volkswagen Beetle did more than inspire cars; in some cases, it powered them. The Porsche 356, the …

The Genesis G70 Gets New Looks and More Power for 2022

Cars like the G70 show how well Genesis can deliver luxury at an affordable price. The Genesis G70 itself has won multiple awards and proven to be both a reliable and safe premium sedan. However, it’s not quite perfect. Minor manufacturing bugs aside, one critique of the G70 has been a lack of power. But, …

Street-Legal Track Supercars: BAC Mono vs. Brabham BT62R

Becoming a better driver doesn’t require high-dollar performance or track-only vehicles. Especially because purpose-built racers, like the Challenger Drag Pak and Aston Martin’s upcoming superbike, aren’t street-legal. But some supercar makers design their machines to at least pay lip service to on-road civility. One of the more extreme examples is the single-seat British-built BAC Mono. …

Does the Ford Mustang Mach-E Have More Range Than the Tesla Model Y?

Regardless of what you think of the name, you can’t deny the anticipation surrounding the Ford Mustang Mach-E. After all, the First Edition Mach-Es are completely sold out. The EV’s production delay, though, gives its biggest rival, the Tesla Model Y, a chance to grab market share. But a recent test may give potential Model …

Honda CB300R vs. CB360: How Affordable Bikes Have Changed

Honda has something of a history when it comes to affordable motorcycles. Although the Vincent Black Shadow arguably beat it to the ‘superbike’ title, the CB750 offered genuine superbike tech at a reasonable price. And of course, there’s the famous Super Cub, which is quite possibly the best-selling motor vehicle ever. Today, one of Honda’s …

Why Don’t SUVs Have Sliding Doors?

Ever since the Jeep Grand Wagoneer’s big unveiling, questions and critiques have swirled around the luxury 3-row SUV. Why does it look that way? Where’s the wood paneling? Will it actually be a good luxury SUV? One Twitter user, though, helped trigger a question that goes beyond just the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. And that question …

The 2009-2011 Honda Civic’s Engine Will Last Longer Than Its Paint

Whether you’re buying new or used, the Honda Civic is usually a solid choice for a reliable car. And the 8th-gen model, especially the 2009-2011 model years, is a great bargain recommended by Consumer Reports. However, the 8th-gen Civic had a few problems. And despite its CR recommendation, owner-reported satisfaction is strangely low. That’s because …

The Alfa Romeo GTV6 Is an Almost-Practical Stylish Italian Classic

During its 110 years of business, Alfa Romeo has created several stylish and sporty classic cars. In the 90s, it had the wedge-shaped SZ. In the 70s, the Lamborghini Miura’s designer penned the Montreal. And the modern Giulia takes its name from an athletic 60s sedan and coupe. But most of these cars are either …

Can You Actually Buy This Off-Road-Prepped Kia Telluride?

Compared to something like a 4Runner TRD Pro, the Kia Telluride isn’t exactly an extreme off-roader. Which, for some, may not be an issue. However, rumors are claiming Kia is working on rectifying that. But before that potential trim comes out, it’s worth remembering that Kia did show off an off-road-prepped Telluride some time ago. …
