Arizona man attacks tow truck driver with a hammer
Two men are currently in the hospital due to injuries that occurred while fighting with a hammer. They were involved in a road rage incident in North Valley near Interstate 17 and Greenway Road around 2:20 pm.
Police officers responded to the scene as the two drivers aggressively attacked each other. An argument quickly turned physical.
Phoenix Police Sargent, Brain Bower shared that a tow truck driver and passenger car driver got into a dangerous road rage altercation.
The driver of the car attacked the driver of the tow truck with a hammer as the other man tried to hit him with the tow truck. That’s a case of hammer versus tow truck, and the odds are in favor of the truck.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, multiple other cars that weren’t involved in the conflict were damaged as a result of their actions.
Both men were transported to the hospital, but they shouldn’t get too comfortable. Once they’re discharged they will be going to jail.

Their names haven’t been released to the public yet. Sargent Bowers also didn’t share what charges they will face.
But we can speculate that they may face charges for reckless driving, assault with a weapon, attempted vehicular manslaughter, fleeing the scene of accidents, and more.
It’s unclear how the road rage incident started. However, both drivers are guilty of escalating the situation and endangering the lives of others.
Perhaps, they will explain themselves once they have time to recover. They have some time to work on their stories before facing a judge.
