The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will likely hit roads in late Summer/early Fall 2022. It will be available at Mercedes-Benz dealerships throughout the United States and in various international markets.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class for the U.S. market is primarily built at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen, Germany. Also, the automaker has a smaller plant for the production of the E-Class in Bremen, Germany.

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class cost?

The starting price of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class luxury car is $55,750 MSRP for the Sedan, $67,500 MSRP for the Coupe, $69,400 for the Wagon, and $74,650 for the Cabriolet Convertible. Also, the 2023 E-Class costs slightly more than the 2022 E-Class, with around a $1,000 price increase for each model.

Engine options for the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class include a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder (255 horsepower; 277 lb-ft of torque) and a mild-hybrid turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder (362 horsepower; 369 lb-ft of torque). Also, the high-performance AMG E 53 trim features a more powerful variant of the turbo 3.0L engine, with an output of 429 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque. 

And for even greater performance, the AMG E 63 S trim has a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine, which generates 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. With the robust V-8 engine, the AMG E 63 S can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds.

All of the engines for the E-Class are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Also, the E-Class can be equipped with either a rear-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive system. For efficiency, the E-Class gets estimated gas mileage of up to 23 city/31 highway mpg.

Does the 2023 E-Class have any changes for the new model year?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a carryover model. The luxury car mostly remains the same for the 2023 model year — ahead of the redesign for the 2024 model year. However, Mercedes-Benz might make minor tweaks across the E-Class trim lineup, such as adding and removing some features and color options.

Also, for warranty coverage, the 2023 E-Class has a four-year/50,000-mile basic warranty and a four-year/50,000-mile powertrain warranty.
