21-year-old serial Walmart thief led police on a high-speed chase in stolen SUV
Instances of car theft happen every day. This is an unfortunate truth that many car owners worry about. However, these stolen vehicles aren’t always involved in robberies of big box stores. Still, this happened recently in Milwaukee when a woman used a stolen SUV to rob Walmart and then evaded a traffic stop after the police were after her.
Not only did she commit car theft, but she also robbed a store and tried to evade a traffic stop
According to WISN, police officers in Milwaukee responded to a robbery at a Walmart on December 13th. However, they didn’t get to the store in time to catch the suspect, which means they then tried to make a traffic stop on the vehicle she was driving. However, she refused to stop, which caused a police chase. Of course, police chases are dangerous as they can cause car wrecks with uninvolved people.
The chase continued for a bit as the officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on the driver. Sadly, the high-speed chase ended when the driver crashed into another vehicle. This happened at around 1 a.m. Naturally, the police were able to place the woman, 21, into handcuffs. Of course, she’s facing multiple charges for her actions, including robbery, burglary, and fleeing an officer.
Naturally, the police officers were able to determine what she stole after the traffic stop. This included two televisions and Walmart keys she’d somehow taken from an employee. There were also two BB guns in the vehicle. Additionally, police learned that she had committed car theft as the SUV did not belong to her. They believe she was behind two robberies at the same Walmart within the span of a month.
