Traveling with your spouse and three young children can build excellent road trip memories. But it can also cause chaos. That’s why one TikTok user is sharing how the Toyota Sienna makes traveling much easier to avoid headaches. 

Is the Toyota Sienna good for family road trips? 

Yes, according to 2025 Toyota Sienna owner and TikTok user, @zac.kinch, this van makes road trips easier, more convenient, and more relaxing. 

He admits that eight-hour road trips suck and warns users that his minivan looks a bit rough due to having three young children. But it also makes things better. 

For example, the rear entertainment system is awesome. The screen is huge and is visible from the third row, so everyone can see. 

Next up is the cooler box that sits behind the center console. It’s good for drinks, juices, lunches, and snacks. 

Then the Sienna has a vacuum that comes in handy with all the snacks and chaos that occur on the road. You can clean up before, during, and after the trip. 

Plus, there is tons of storage thanks to the folding seats and spacious cargo floor. It has available cargo totes for additional storage. 

He’s been getting about 33.2 mpg but will push that to 36 or 37 during the trip, allowing the family to make fewer stops. That means fewer gas station snacks and bathroom trips. 

The Sienna is also comfortable 

I’ve reviewed two or three Toyota Sienna models, and had a great experience each time. Zac didn’t mention its comfort in the video. But it has some of the most comfortable, spacious front seats in the industry. 

The second row seats also have plenty of padding and range adjustments with available foot rests. Also, the third row is comfortable for adults. 

On top of that, the Sienna has a smooth ride quality and a quiet interior with a powerful air conditioning system to prevent motion sickness. 

I’ve also played Nintendo Switch on the rear entertainment system and had a great time. The cooler is massive as well. 

How much MPG does the Toyota Sienna get? 

Fun fact: the Toyota Sienna is a hybrid! It gets an EPA-estimated 34 mpg in the city and up to 36 mpg on the highway. The Sienna has a range of about 648 miles on a single tank of gas. 

I’ve achieved about 36.6 mpg, and could have done better if I had the willpower to stop using sport mode. 

How much cargo space does the Sienna have? 

The Sienna provides 33.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, and 75.2 cubes behind the second row. There are 101 cubic feet overall. Also, the third row seats fold down flat into the floor. 

You’ll find plenty of cup holders, trays, and storage bins in each row. The center console is impressive with a pass-through space underneath. 

The Sienna can also tow up to 3,500 lbs, and you can carry extra cargo on the roof.
