Many people become victims of car theft with each passing day. Sadly, this is one of the most widespread and destructive crimes in modern times. Recently, four teenagers were arrested for breaking into and stealing cars, as well as evading a traffic stop and then crashing. However, the story gets even more interesting when you learn the story involves two vehicles.

These teens committed multiple instances of car theft, evaded a traffic stop, and crashed

According to WHEC News 10, police officers in Rochester, New York, responded to reports of a car theft at an apartment complex recently. However, once the officers reached the scene of the crime, they saw two stolen vehicles speed off; one was a Hyundai, and the other was a Kia. They then tried to conduct a traffic stop on the cars, but the respective drivers refused to pull over.

As they continued trying to make the traffic stop on the car theft suspects, the officers on the scene observed one of the two cars driving erratically. This included driving on the sidewalks and weaving across lanes. Then, the driver of the stolen Hyundai crashed, leading the police to catch one of the suspects right away. They later found two others in the woods and apprehended them.

They continued trying to make the traffic stop on the stolen Kia. However, this pursuit also ended in a crash. Of course, they were able to arrest the driver. In total, the police arrested four teenagers. The authorities first took them to the hospital for medical evacuation due to the crashes. They are all facing serious charges, the most significant being grand larceny. Notably, two of the teenagers were involved in the previously reported Christmas Eve mass car theft that happened in New York.
