Texas man use stolen truck to steal $138k from ATM

Two Texas men are behind bars in Michigan after committing crimes far away from home. The suspects, identified as Darryl Edward Jr. and Braylon Marshall, were spotted by police via surveillance video after a massive shopping spree.

They went big at the Somerset Collection mall in Troy, Michigan. However, they should have stayed low after stealing the cash to fund their trip.

According to MLIVE, the men stole a Ford F-350 with a purpose in mind. Next, they immediately connected it with hooks and chains to an ATM machine at the front of the bank.

This allowed them to rip the face off to quickly grab about $138,000. Also, the bank estimated that the robbery caused over $80,000 in damages.

Edwards and Marshall didn’t hesitate to roll up to the mall and start spending. They went to high-end retailers and left with multiple bags of merchandise.

One of the surveillance photos shows the men clearly standing in front of a Neiman Marcus store. The retailer only has one Michigan location, which is at the Somerset Collection.

They both were arrested and charged with one felony count of bank robbery. Allegedly, two other men remain at large after assisting with the crime. Also, sources suggest that the truck was stolen in Texas, and then they traveled to Michigan to commit the crime.
