Stellantis Struggles to Sell Brand New Jeep SUVs From 2024
Most dealerships are clearing out 2025 models to make room for 2026 options. However, Stellantis dealers still have brand new Jeep SUVs from 2024 taking up crucial space on the lots. Why aren’t drivers going after these rides even when crazy discounts are applied?

Yikes, Stellantis is still trying to bail water out of its sinking ship with a spoon. For the sixth consecutive year, Jeep has been met with sales declines in the United States.
The plummet may be worse than expected, as a study by iSeeCars notes that dealerships will have new Jeep SUVs from 2024, taking up space. On a positive note, this means drivers could negotiate for a stellar deal at the moment.
The 2024 models that Jeep is struggling to move include the Wagoneer L, Grand Wagoneer, Wrangler 4xe, and Grand Cherokee. Honestly, I’m surprised that the Gladiator isn’t on the list of the top 20 vehicles with 2024 inventory.
But when it comes to the Wrangler 4xe, I get it. Those fire-related recalls have been concerning. But the sales decline is widely attributed to pricing. The average price of a new vehicle is roughly $49,000!
Plus, driver surveys show that Jeep ranks towards the bottom of this list when it comes to reliability and satisfaction.
Of course, Stellantis has been making moves to try to turn things around. It’s backing off its previous plans to go fully electric with every model. More options are available with the beloved HEMI V8 engine.
Also, the return of the more affordable Cherokee model could help. However, the 2026 Compass is the most affordable model in the lineup, and it starts at $30,900!
