Stellantis Slashes Jeep Wrangler Prices to Boost Sales
For the record, the Ford Bronco came close to beating the Wrangler in sales. But the Wrangler maintained a small lead. Now Stellantis hopes to keep it that way by slashing Jeep Wrangler prices to improve sales and maintain its lead.
Stellantis slashes 2026 Jeep Wrangler prices
Here is some rare good news! Some SUVs are benefiting from lower prices for 2026. Stellantis is cutting Jeep Wrangler prices in an attempt to boost sales.
For example, the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Sport S now starts at $42,195, which is $1,350 cheaper than before. Plus, extra capability comes for less.
The $9,400 package with LED lights, all-terrain tires, a heated steering wheel, and heated seats is now $5,000. Also, according to Bloomberg, the cost of the Sky Slider power tip has been dropped to only $995.
Also, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe used to start at $50,695. But it was discontinued in 2026 to simplify lineups with more affordable trim levels.
In 2025, the Ford Bronco sold 146,007 SUVs. In 2024, it sold 109,172 units while the Wrangler sold 151,163 models. It seemed like the Bronco had a serious chance to catch up.
But the Jeep Wrangler ended 2025 with 167,332 sales. This is a 11% sales increase over 2024, which broke a trend of declining numbers. Most of the Wrangler’s success came during the 4th quarter of the year, when Stellantis started offering better prices.
Jeep and Ram both plan to continue reducing prices while simplifying lineups. Also, the more affordable Jeep Cherokee is finally returning this year.
For the record, the 2026 Wrangler has an MSRP of $34,985, while the Bronco starts at $40,495. We’re gearing up for another interesting year of competition.
