Police officers responded to reports of a stolen vehicle at the 31000 block of Auto Center Drive. Despite searching the area, the vehicle hasn’t been recovered.
Officials with the U.R. The Important Foundation shared that the vehicle was stolen while members were sorting food to donate. The director of the organization stepped away for a break. When they returned, the vehicle had vanished.
According to CBS News, the suspects were caught on security camera footage. However, the investigation is still ongoing. Investigators are still hoping to make a break in the case. The community is urged to provide any information that could help recover the truck and turkeys.
Many members of the community have been supportive, despite not receiving turkeys for their Thanksgiving meal. An anonymous donor has replaced 200 of the turkeys, but that’s simply not enough for everyone.
