When life gives you lemons then you could be stuck with terrible cars! One 2025 Ram 1500 owner expected to drive off the lot with her new Ram 1500 only to enjoy years of truck stuff together. But instead, she got nothing but problems.

Is your 2025 Ram 1500 a lemon?

TikTok user and 2025 Ram 1500 owner @half.finished.home is here to rant because she can’t be the only one with a Ram that’s a lemon.

Reportedly, the check engine light started blinking on and off around 500 miles. The truck has provided misfire codes, it has broken down twice, and has been to the shop three times.

It spent 21 days in the shop because three faulty fuel injectors were replaced, but that didn’t solve the problem. Ram Engineering said there is no fix and to return the truck so she can wait for a recall.

The truck also slips into the wrong gear and has sluggish responses. Sometimes it won’t accelerate, and her backup camera has a blue screen of death.

She’s glad that she’s only leasing the truck at this point. But she leased it because she wanted something new and reliable for  her business and to take her kids to school.

What are common 2025 Ram 1500 problems?

According to Car Complaints, the 2025 Ram 1500 struggles with electrical problems. It even has three related recalls due to electronic stability control system problems, inoperative headlights, and incorrect tire pressure readings.

Other complaints included a lack of acceleration, inoperative door locks, heavy steering, the lack of braking power, and the inability to unlock the doors.

The second most common problem is related to the engine. There are multiple complaints of the engine suddenly losing power or throwing misfire codes.

Did commenters also get a lemon?

In the comments, other drivers agree that their Ram 1500 trucks are lemons with tons of misfire codes. Some shared that being new doesn’t always mean better, and to get a lawyer.

Other truck owners have had a better experience. One owner shared that he’s at 16,000 miles and hasn’t experienced any problems.

I’ve reached out to @half.finished.home to see if she was able to get her truck repaired.
