Paul Walker’s Rare 2005 Ford GT With Just 3,700 Miles on It Expected to Fetch up to $1 Million
Considering his role in the Fast and Furious film franchise, it’s little surprise Paul Walker was a big “car guy.” Several of his cars have been auctioned off since his passing. However, his 2005 Ford GT is one of the rarest.
In 2023, the blue Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 driven by Paul Walker in Fast and Furious sold at auction for $1.18 million. It was the most ever paid for that particular model. In 2021, the Toyota Supra that Walker drove in the film franchise sold for $550,000.
The 2005 Ford GT that is currently up for auction didn’t appear in any of the films. That won’t stop it from fetching a huge price, though. A 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition with 71 miles on it set a record, selling for $1,001,000 in January 2025.
Paul Walker’s 2005 Ford GT is a very unique supercar
The Ford supercar was previously part of the “Always Evolving Collection” owned by Paul Walker and Roger Rodas. In addition, it is one of only 14 Mark IV Red stripe-delete GTs built in 2005.
According to the Bring A Trailer auction site, “It is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 linked with a six-speed manual gearbox and a helical limited-slip differential. Factory options include red-finished brake calipers and a McIntosh CD stereo, and modifications include an Accufab throttle body, an aftermarket ECU tune, an aftermarket exhaust system, Penske dampers, and 19″ and 20″ ADV.1 twin-spoke wheels. Additional equipment includes Brembo brakes, HID headlights, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and air conditioning.
“This Ford GT has 3,701 miles and is now offered in California on dealer consignment with an SCT handheld tuner, a spare set of wheels, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.”
Paul Walker’s 2005 Ford GT was designed by Camilo Pardo as an homage to the Le Mans–winning GT40 racing cars of the 1960s. The current bid is $550,000, with eight days remaining in the auction, as of Friday, Nov. 26.
The rare supercar was previously sold by RM Sotheby’s in 2021 as part of a $148.5 million three-day auction. At that time, it had 2,556 miles on it and sold for $478,000.
