New York City certainly has a traffic problem but that doesn’t stop super speeders from causing problems. I was looking at the list of the top 10 people who have been busted for speeding the most, and was surprised to see a Chrysler Pacifica on the list. 

Notorious New York super speeder drives a Chrysler Pacifica 

When you think about drivers who speed around New York City, you probably imagine them in luxury cars. Perhaps options like the Batmobile come to mind. 

However, on the list of the top 10 super speeders, you’ll find a black 2022 Chrysler Pacifica in sixth place. This minivan terrorizes traffic with other top speeders with luxury models. 

For example, a 2023 Audi A6 is in first place and a 2015 Mercedes-Benz C is in third place. A 2022 Land Rover Range Rover is also on the list. Less expensive models on the list include a 2018 Ford taxicab, a 2024 Kia Forte, and a 2023 Chevy Suburban. 

According to Trans Alt, the top 10 super speeders received an average of 323 school zone speed camera tickets. The most reckless driver received 563 and the driver in 10th place got 160. 

The Chrysler Pacifica packs a punch with 287 hp under the hood. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds. It’s not a sports car, but its weight distribution and handling make it pretty fun to race. 

However, this post isn’t to glorify these drivers. Speeding is extremely dangerous, especially in school zones. These 10 drivers are more likely to cause wrecks that involve fatalities. The Pacifica driver paid $25,691 in fines in 2024 but already has nine tickets in 2025.
