How Much Does a Fully Loaded 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Cost?

Here's a look at how much a fully loaded 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport midsize SUV model costs, factoring in trim levels, accessories, add-ons, and more.

The Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is a midsize two-row SUV with some nice updates for the 2024 model year. In addition to an aesthetic refresh, this VW gets a new engine, more standard features, and a higher-quality interior.

The Atlas Cross Sport is a smaller, more stylish alternative to the regular VW Atlas. Although the Atlas Cross Sport feels the same from behind the wheel, it’s a two-row SUV with less passenger and maximum cargo space than the three-row Atlas. That said, the Atlas Cross Sport is quite roomy for a two-row crossover and with plenty of premium features.

Let’s look at the cost of the updated Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport and what you can expect to pay for a fully-loaded example.

The entry-level price of a 2024 VW Atlas Cross Sport

The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport starts at $36,715. That gets you the base SE trim, which is very well-equipped for a base model. Like every Atlas Cross Sport, it’s powered by a new turbocharged engine rated at 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The EPA gives it a combined fuel economy rating of 23 mpg with FWD and 22 mpg with AWD.

Standard features in the Atlas Cross Sport SE include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, an adaptive front lighting system, V-Tex leatherette seats, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Digital Cockpit Pro digital gauge cluster, a wireless charging pad, and four USB-C ports.

The standard IQ.Drive safety tech suite bundles automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. The standard infotainment system has a 12-inch screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, and HD Radio.

Upgrading to the SE with Technology trim ($40,655) adds some excellent features like 20-inch wheels, a lightbar integrated into the front grille, illuminated emblems, remote start, a hands-free power liftgate, front and rear parking sensors, a trailer hitch, a 115V power outlet, and rear sunshades.

The SEL trim ($47,435) makes the Atlas Cross Sport a more premium SUV with leather seats, a memory driver’s seat, a power front passenger seat, a head-up display, ambient interior lighting, navigation, and heated rear seats. This is also where the 4MOTION AWD system becomes standard. The SEL R-Line model ($48,885) has a similar equipment list but adds the sporty R-Line appearance package.

How much is a fully-loaded 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport?

The top SEL Premium R-Line trim of the 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport starts at $51,445. It builds on the SEL R-Line trim and adds 21-inch alloy wheels, perforated Vienna leather seating surfaces, a Harman Kardon premium audio system, and a 360-degree camera.

The only factory option to add to the SEL Premium R-Line trim is premium paint options ($395), including Pure Gray, Aurora Red, and Opal White. When you add that and the $1,350 destination charge, the total price comes to $53,190.

There are also several dealer-installed accessories available, like aluminum side steps ($900), a cargo box carrier ($790), splash guards ($130), all-season floor mats ($130), and much more.

Is the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport a worthwhile buy?

The 2024 VW Atlas Cross Sport SEL Premium R-Line isn’t cheap. However, its pricing is about right for what you get for the money. The lower trims, like the SE and SEL models, are well-equipped SUVs with many standard features at a lower price point.

All in all, the SEL Premium R-Line model is a good buy if it fits your budget for a comfortable, upscale SUV model. However, the base SE trim is arguably a better value.
