Men flip semi-truck and attack trucker in North Carolina
A trucker was delivering a load of mulch to a landfill in North Carolina when he was suddenly harassed by a group of men.
He pulled up to the dumpsite for Hurricane Helene debris 45 minutes before the site opened at 6:30 AM. An employee told him most drivers wait up the road for the site to open.
However, the driver explained that it was his first time at the location and he didn’t know that. The employee allowed him to stay parked by the gate.
Then the owner’s son allegedly told him to circle around and let other semi-truck drivers go first. The trucker complied despite being there first.
According to 828 News Now, the son returned later with a group of men and claimed that his missing phone was found on the ground by his tractor-trailer.
Allegedly, the men opened the truck door and attacked him. The trucker’s puppy was slammed in the door, but wasn’t injured.
The sheriff was called, and a man arrived claiming to be with the police. He told the trucker to stay in his cab. However, video evidence suggests that this man doesn’t look like Sheriff Bill Wilke at all.
Then the driver tried to leave, but the men used bulldozers to flip his semi-truck and trailer. He was scared to move, fearing things would get worse.
Real police officers arrived to deescalate the scene. There is an ongoing investigation into the matter. Some people think the landfill is hiding something.
