Oklahoma man reports truck he stole as stolen

Around 9 AM, police officers received reports of a stolen truck driving around the area of 11300 East Skelly Drive. They quickly spotted a Ford F-150 that was reported stolen from Arkansas in a driveway by 10800 East 15th place.

No one was home at the time, and a tow truck hauled the F-150 away. The real owner of the truck was notified about its recovery.

Then, around 12 PM, police officers received a call from a 32-year-old man named Brandon Hernandez. He lives where the stolen F-150 was located and wanted to file a report because his truck was stolen.

According to Fox 23, Hernandez explained that he purchased the truck the night before in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He shared that he got a good deal and only paid $400.

Then he continued to overshare that he was planning to use the money to bail his girlfriend out of jail, but bought the F-150 instead. Don’t worry, he claims he was going to return to Arkansas to get her soon.

But officers found the wallet, tools, and other owners belonging to the rightful owner in the cab. Hernandez was quickly arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.
