Get ready for a shocker. The 2027 Kia Telluride is on its way, and it’s not coming cheap. While the three-row SUV still dominated as a top choice among families and critics, it now seems a little harder to get on a budget.

How much does the 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid cost?

Drum roll, please! The 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid starts at $46,490. Then the $1,545 destination fee increases the starting price to $48,035. This is for the entry-level model. So, it doesn’t have all-wheel drive. Adding AWD costs an extra $2,000.

The entry-level gas-powered Telluride starts at $39,190 before the destination fee is added. So, it’s quite the leap to upgrade to hybrid power. But the hybrid engine isn’t offered with two of the lowest trim levels. The difference between equivalent trims is only $2,700.

Rivals like the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid start at $46,505, including the destination fee. The 2026 Mazda CX-90 Hybrid starts at $52,025. So, all three-row hybrid SUVs are expensive, not just the Telluride.

According to Auto Evolution, the Telluride Hybrid features a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors to generate 329 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque. It’s aiming for about 35 mpg.

Also, it’s expected to have a range of up to 600 miles on a single tank of gas. Keep in mind that AWD makes vehicles heavier and impacts the fuel economy as a result. The Kia Telluride Hybrid can tow up to 4,500 lbs.

You don’t have to wait much longer for this SUV to arrive. The gas-powered models are already at the dealership, so the hybrid variants shouldn’t be too far behind.
