Indiana Lt. Governor trolls people upset over tax-funded $88k SUV with Tesla Cybertruck

Indiana Governor trolls haters with Tesla Cybertruck
When Indiana Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith bought an $88k SUV, he was met with pushback. His brand new Chevrolet Tahoe High Country was paid for with taxpayer funds.
First, Beckwith shrugged off the backlash because he claimed to have already saved taxpayers tons of cash. However, angry mobs didn’t back down.
He said he needed a bigger SUV for his male staff as his predecessor, Suzanna Crouch, drove around with women. That’s great to throw something that could be considered sexism into the mix.
Then Beckwith took to Twitter and threatened to replace the Chevy Tahoe High Country with a Tesla Cybertruck. According to Indy Star, Mitch Gore responded to the tweet by saying, “I expletive dare you.”
It’s unclear if he actually purchased the Cybertruck or borrowed it. But it’s been parked in his space by the state house for the past few days. It doesn’t have an official State of Indiana license plate.
However, the Cybertruck is pretty luxurious with its $79,990 MSRP. If he traded the Tahoe for it, then he may have lost a few seats for his staffers as the truck only has room for about five average-sized adults.
Beckwith’s team shared that he wanted to show Elon Musk and Donald Trump that they have his full support. He may have burned through even more taxpayer funds to show this support.
