Hulk Hogan loved cars, but he had the most love for 1 American brand
Wrestling fans everywhere are mourning the loss of Terry Gene Bollea, the superstar also known as Hulk Hogan. Hogan passed away at the age of 71 after a career of bombastic proportions. But the muscle-bound showman left behind more than adoring fans and family; he left behind a world-class collection of Dodge muscle cars and other Mopars.
In addition to his legacy, Hulk Hogan left behind a trail of seriously cool Dodge muscle cars
Hulk Hogan wasn’t a person you’d describe as subtle. His in-the-ring performances were Mr. Universe flexes, poses, and the frequent shirt-rip. “Hulk” is sort of the perfect moniker. But Hogan’s car collection wasn’t any less exciting than his wrestling bouts.
Hogan was a huge fan of Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars, and his garage was practically brimming with iconic Mopars. Here’s a list of just a handful of Hogan’s cars over the years.
- 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
- 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye
- 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10
- 1968 Dodge Charger R/T
- 1971 Plymouth Barracuda
- 1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda
- 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
The late wrestler didn’t leave his cars unmodified, either. His 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, for instance, packed a modern, high-horsepower engine build. And his 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 sported a custom “Hulkster” color scheme in red and yellow. But Hogan didn’t keep the Hulkster; he auctioned the bright, 10-cylinder sports car at a Mecum Auction five years ago.
Then there’s the car Hogan didn’t have to modify to break records: his SRT Demon. Limited to just 3,300 units, the 840-horsepower SRT Demon was the fastest-accelerating ICE production car in the world at the time of its release.
Of course, Hogan isn’t the only Dodge-minded wrestling superstar out there. Bill Goldberg has closely aligned himself with the brand over the years, including appearing in commercials and attending the brand’s events.
