Ozzy has gone viral, but he will never know it. A Manitoba mother named Riesha shared a video of him doing the job he was born for: shepherding her kids to the bus stop. More than 440,000 TikTokers loved it, but they probably aren’t why Ozzy has never missed a day of “work.”

Riesha wrote, “Our German Shepherd Ozzy takes the kids to the bus stop every morning, waits for them to get on, waits for the door to close, and heads back inside.”

In the video, snow covers the ground, but it doesn’t slow Ozzy down. “Our good boy has never missed a morning of bus stop duty for 2 years now.“

Why Ozzy’s routine resonates with so many parents

The kiddos in question—aged nine and six—wanted to wait for the bus themselves. Riesha felt much better about their new independence when Ozzy followed along. “That’s really what Ozzy’s personality is. He’s all about the kids and just being there for them.” You can see Ozzy for yourself in the video below:

The outpouring of love online shows why the video spoke to so many folks. The top comment: “My Rottweiler did this for me from age 5 until 16.” Many viewers said they had their own version of Ozzy growing up.

But one commenter added a different perspective. A bus driver named Andy explained they “have 3 different stops that they do this on, they look me in the eye like ‘we good right?’”
