It’s probably scary to be chased by any truck. However, you might run faster if a Florida woman is behind the wheel! A Florida lady hit a car with a stolen pickup and then tried to run over the driver as he fled on foot.

Florida woman tries to hit man with stolen truck

Police officers were confused when they responded to reports of an accident in Tampa, Florida. When they arrived at the scene they found an empty Ford F-250 and Dodge Challenger stopped on an exit ramp on Interstate I-75.

Then a witness explained that a woman was in the truck. She used it to aggressively reverse into the front of the Dodge while the driver was standing beside it. Next, she circled the car and struck it a second time as the driver waved at her to stop.

The man abandoned the Dodge and the woman chased him with the truck up to the tree line. She struck him and then jumped out of the truck to try getting picked up by passing drivers.

According to Dayton247 Now, the suspect identified as 20-year-old Armani Bellamy failed to snag a ride. She was detained by a witness who also administered aid to the man partially trapped under the Ford F-250.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and the truck had a roofing company’s logo on the side. Turns out, it was stolen.

Ballamy was charged with aggravated assault of a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, criminal mischief, first-degree attempted murder, and grand theft of a motor vehicle. It’s unclear why she was motivated to use the truck as a weapon.
