It wouldn’t be a day of the week without an eyebrow-raising, supremely silly Florida man story. And this one takes the cake. Not quite cake, though– more of a cheeseburger crime. A former strip club employee got into an altercation at a Tampa-area gentlemen’s club, ending with a drive-by using meat, cheese, and pickles instead of bullets.

A Florida man and former strip club employee pelted another man with a cheeseburger from his car, one month after robbing a boat

A cheeseburger is seldom employed as a weapon. Ballistically speaking, the meaty sandwich makes a better meal than a projectile. But that didn’t stop one Florida man from using the quarter-pounder in his car to settle a score.

According to The Smoking Gun, 26-year-old Jordan Cotta arrived at Atlantis Gentlemen’s Club near Tampa. But the Florida man wasn’t there to patronize the place. No, he had a bone to pick with management.

Clearly, Cotta didn’t arrive at the desired result. He stomped out to his car, collected a cheeseburger, and chucked the sandwich at another Floridian. Now, you might not think that a cheeseburger would do any damage. But the victim of the beefy battering says otherwise.

The burger reportedly struck the man in the shoulder, who says the impact resulted in “bodily harm.” And the criminal complaint is no less hilarious. “The defendant stated he did throw a cheeseburger from his vehicle,” the complaint stated.

As if to highlight the hijinks, the Florida man reportedly told authorities, “he would do it again.” Better keep this driver away from drive-thrus.

This isn’t Cotta’s first brush-in with the law this year, either. Last month, police arrested the 26-year-old for robbing his uncle’s boat. During that fine example of decision-making, he stole a gun and sold it to another relative for $300.
