Colorado family spots their stolen truck stealing a golf cart on the news
Sometimes when trucks are stolen they’re never seen again. They’re quickly sent off to be sold or parted out. However, one family was in for a shock when they recognized their stolen truck on the news as it was being used to steal a golf cart.
Family recognizes their stolen truck while stealing a golf cart
The Torres family in Denver, Colorado was in shock after their pickup truck was stolen on November 15, during early morning hours.
Stephanie Torres shared that her father got home really late that night and went to bed. Then he was up around 4 am to head back to work.
During that short time period, his Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was stolen. Everything her dad needed for work like tools and snow gear was kept in the truck. The truck was also used to take other family members to work when it snowed.
They filed a police report and waited for justice. The family posted flyers and shared social media posts all over in hopes of finding the truck
About a week later, the family was shocked to see their white Chevy pickup truck on the news! A man exited the truck on camera and they recognized the family photos that their father kept to keep himself motivated during long hours.
But they didn’t rejoice at the sight of their ride. Instead, they were saddened because the truck bed was full of random things that were potentially stolen.
In the video, the Chevy truck was being used to steal a red golf cart. It was taken around 4:40 am on November 18 after being caught canvassing the neighborhood on cameras.
The Bloyer family shared that they used their golf cart daily and won’t press charges if it’s returned. However, whoever stole the truck and golf cart is still at large.
