City Worker in Philadelphia ‘Intentionally’ Plows Snow Onto Parked Cars in Maniacal, Profanity-Laced Video
A city worker in Philadelphia “intentionally” plowed large amounts of heavy snow on parked cars. Of course, he filmed the whole thing and shared it online.
In the 35-second video, a Philadelphia Sanitation Department driver is heard laughing and swearing as he drives through the Kensington neighborhood of the city. The incident reportedly occurred on Monday, a day after more than nine inches of snow fell on the City of Brotherly Love.
“If your car look like this just go and head the f— back in the house. Just go in the house. Ain’t no need for you to be outside today,” the driver says in the video, then laughs maniacally as he buries more cars in snow.
“If I can’t drive, you b—– can’t drive,” the driver says before laughing again. “Happy snow day mother f——! We tearing this s— up. Allegheny don’t need to go nowhere. Go in the f—— house. Go in the house!”
Philadelphia city officials addressed the viral video of the worker plowing snow onto residents’ cars
“Unfortunately, I received several reports of activity when there were drivers who intentionally buried people in their cars, often causing safety and dangerous conditions,” Carlton Williams, Director of the city’s Clean and Green initiative, said in a video posted to Facebook. “The city of Philadelphia does not tolerate this type of behavior, and if it occurs, we will address it immediately.”
NBC 10 News reported that a Philadelphia Streets Department spokesperson confirmed the driver in the video was indeed a Sanitation Department employee. He has been identified, and city officials said his actions are being dealt with internally.
