Sometimes I feel a little nervous while driving around car haulers. While truck drivers are extremely experienced, the cars seem like they could fall off. An Arizona man just crashed into a state trooper while hauling three cars, which justifies my fear.

Arizona truck driver crashes into police officer while hauling three cars

Getting hit by one car is probably enough of a hassle. But what if you get by four cars? That sort of happened to a state trooper on the size of the Arizona highway.

A police officer was filling out paperwork from a non-injury collision report about 20 feet off the highway off Interstate 10 in Buckeye, when a truck driver lost control. You can see the carnage here.

The driver of a Ram 3500 was hauling three cars when he struck the state trooper’s truck. The force from the Ram, Nissan van, black SUV, and Tesla Cybertruck that were being hauled sent the police truck 60 feet away.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the trooper was immediately transported to a local hospital for possible head injuries. His current condition is unknown.

The driver of the Ram 3500 has been identified as Andrii Mykhailivk of Brooklyn, New York. He wasn’t injured, but he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

It looks like the trooper in a Ford F-150 police inspector during the incident. The truck bed was smashed up beyond recognition. Luckily, the car hauler didn’t flip, but it’s unclear if the cars onboard were damaged.

Hopefully, the truck driver had load insurance, otherwise he could find himself in tons of debt. The Tesla Cybertruck has an MSRP of $79,990.
