New year, new steals! It might be the perfect time to pounce on a few different SUVs that are gaining massive price cuts. There are new and used models that are starting to pile up on the dealership lots, forcing better deals.

Five SUVs with lowering prices

1. Used Honda CR-V

Average price – $20,032

One of the first SUVs to consider for getting an excellent deal on is a used Honda CR-V. After years of facing a limited supply, more models are starting to sit on the dealership lots.

This is wild to me, because the CR-V often has a stout demand. It’s reliable with low maintenance costs. Plus, it has a high reliability rating, smooth ride, and excellent cargo space for the class.

2. 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Lower starting price – $63,240

Jeep isn’t exactly known for massive three-row SUVs. However, the 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer deserves a chance to shine. Because it hasn’t been selling well, the luxury ride has a lower starting price for 2026.

Along with being essentially an off-roading bus, it’s extremely comfortable and easy to maneuver in tight areas. It has a quiet interior and plenty of space for passengers.

3. Used Toyota RAV4

Average price – $23,081

Tons of Toyota RAV4 models that are about three years old are hitting the market. This makes sense as it’s the most popular SUV in the world. That means there is more to trade in as drivers upgrade.

It has a solid reputation for being practical, durable, and affordable. Plus, the hybrid model is pretty darn efficient.

4. Used Nissan Rogue

Average price – $19,174

Surprisingly, the Nissan Rogue is actually the most popular used SUV. Now inventory levels are hitting new highs. It might not be as popular as the CR-V or RAV4, but it deserves to be in the running.

The Rogue is known for being practical and comfortable with a smooth ride and quiet interior. It features modern tech and an abundance of cargo space.

5. 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5

New lower starting price – $35,000

According to Edmunds, the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 has lowered its starting price from $41,000. This is to make up for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit coming to an end. Also, this electric EV is shockingly good as one of the highest-rated options.

It has powerful regenerative brakes to charge the batteries and fast charging times. This SUV is athletic and engaging. Plus, it doesn’t skimp on space or comfort.
