The 2026 Forester Hybrid starts at $36,180, and in 2025 it started at $38,015. So, it has a price cut of $1,835, but it didn’t lose any standard equipment. Also, the Sport trim is $1,635 less than before at $39,380.
Next, the top-spec Touring trim level is $1,720 less at $42,995. The mid-level Limited trim gets the biggest price cut of $1,985 to start at $40,445. Prices for the ICE-powered models have a $30 increase. The Wilderness Edition gets an increase of $750.
The Subaru Forester Hybrid paired a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to generate 194 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. It gets an EPA-estimated 35 mpg in the city and up to 34 mpg on the highway.
According to Subaru, it has a range of 591 miles on a single tank of gas. Plus, all-wheel drive is standard across the lineup.
