The 2026 Nissan Frontier goes against popular tariff trends
I know that you’re expecting the 2026 Nissan Frontier to have a massive price increase due to tariffs. However, you’re in for a rare happy surprise. Nissan is doing the opposite of what you expect while adding enticing new features.
How much does the 2026 Nissan Frontier cost?
The 2026 Nissan Frontier has an MSRP of $32,150, and the $1,695 destination fee increases the starting price to $33,835. You can still get 2025 Frontier trucks that start at $33,560 with the destination fee included. However, it only costs $275 to upgrade.
According to Nissan, the Dark Armor package gives the Frontier a bold new style. It’s available with the SV trim and includes 17-inch black alloy wheels, darkened mirror caps, front grille, exterior badging, and FRONTIER lettering on the tailgate.
Interior upgrades include a black headliner, darkened door handles, HVAC vents, shifter trim, and dashboard accents.
The PRO-X and PRO-4X trim levels gain a new shade of Citrus Strike paint. It’s a yellow and lime blend that compliments the shade of Afterburn Orange that debuted in 2025.
Plus, the Nissan Frontier has a new drive mode selector, such as Rock, Sand, On-Road, Mud, and Hill Descent Control. This truck provides the driver with the performance and capabilities to tackle any challenge.
Also, the new All-Weather package bundles a heated leather steering wheel, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and remote engine start.
The standard 3.8-liter V6 engine cranks out 310 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque. The Frontier can tow up to 7,150 lbs when properly equipped.
