Sound the alarm! The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid just had its world premiere. While this SUV has exciting upgrades to consider, it also provides clues about what to expect with the redesigned Kia Telluride. Here are some quick highlights. 

What to expect with the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid and new Kia Telluride 

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid launches the second generation with more efficient power and comfort. With the hybrid engine, you get 329 hp, roughly 34 mpg, and over 600 miles of range on a single tank of gas. The gas-powered model has an estimated 287 hp. 

While the hybrid model can tow up to 4,000 lbs, the gas-powered model can tow up to 5,000 lbs. The new XRT Pro trim beefs things up with 18-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, a 1-inch suspension lift, and tow hooks. 

Also, comfort is improved for the whole family, especially in the third row because the wheelbase is 2.7 inches longer than before. It’s also 2.5 inches wider. The second row has available reclining captain’s chairs with footrests. 

While premium materials fill the cabin, advanced tech makes a difference with faster processing times, a wi-fi hotspot, UV-C sterilization comparison, park assistant, rear occupant reminder, and an integrated dash camera. 

The new Palisade improves comfort, intelligence, space, and capability that growing families need. Also, Kia Telluride is essentially its twin as the current generations share multiple components. 

So it’s safe to expect the new Kia Telluride to follow in its tracks with the same, increased dimensions, tech, and engine options. The 2026 Palisade will arrive in the spring and the hybrid variant will be available in the fall. I bet the new Telluride will be here by the end of the year.
