Whoa, Stellantis pulled one over on me! I didn’t expect the Jeep Cherokee Hybrid to arrive by the end of 2025. Also, I didn’t think I’d immediately drool over the teaser images. However, the new Cherokee is tall, boxy, and handsome. 

The 2025 Jeep Cherokee Hybrid is coming in HOT 

I bet if I licked my finger and touched the 2025 Jeep Cherokee Hybrid, it would sizzle. While I’ve been pretty harsh and critical of Stellantis for discontinuing the Jeep Renegade and Cherokee, maybe I should have been patient. 

Teaser images of the upcoming Cherokee Hybrid just dropped, and it looks great. This is a Jeep model with a lot of pressure riding on its axles! But I haven’t found anything to be disappointed about yet. 

First of all, I didn’t expect the next-generation Cherokee to come out until late 2026, so learning that it will be heard by the end of 2025 is great. 

Plus, it will offer the freedom of powertrain choice. Instead of going fully electric, it will arrive with a hybrid engine. Gas-powered options and a PHEV model or Cherokee 4xe could also debut. 

Stellantis shared that it will have a new, efficient, and powerful hybrid propulsion system. So, I’ll have to wait to learn more. Also, rumors suggest that it will be slightly larger than the outgoing model. 

But it won’t be too big. It’s expected to match the cargo and passenger space offered by rivals. Like the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V. Hopefully, it will start around $29,000 to provide a similar price point. 

Last but not least, the Cherokee Hybrid looks great with a rugged, square style, iconic slotted grille, squared headlights, two-tone paint, modern wheel designs, and a large front bumper.
